The Surge is a frame specifically designed for hardtail freeride. Perfect for hucking, north shore and downhill, but at the same time it will be relatively comfortable on longer riders. NS believe that steel is the best material for this kind of frame giving the bike a great feel and making it absolutely bombproof.
For 2012 NS Bikes have managed to save weight by removing the unnecessary gussets and using a more advanced tube set. The Surge frame will work correctly with 120 – 160mm forks and 26” wheels only.
