Frames :: NS Bikes - Rhythm Imports

NS Surge

The Surge is a frame specifically designed for hardtail freeride. Perfect for hucking, north shore and downhill, but at the same time it will be relatively comfortable on longer riders. NS believe that steel is the best material for this kind of frame giving the bike a great feel and making it absolutely bombproof.

For 2011 NS Bikes have managed to save weight by removing the unnecessary gussets and using a more advanced tube set. The Surge frame will work correctly with 120 – 160mm forks and 26” wheels only.

NS Majesty

Martin Söderström’s signature ride and NS Bike's top-of-the line frame. Super lightweight and very strong at the same time. For 2011 the Majesty will be available in two versions: Dirt and Park.
The Dirt version has a similar geometry to last year’s Majesty, but with a slightly lower bottom bracket. This gives it better stability on high speed dirt tracks and slopestyle courses and also works better with higher forks with up to 140mm travel. This version of Majesty comes with a standard threaded BB shell so you can easy fit your favourite mountainbike aluminium cranks.

NS Suburban

An all time classic. Just like last year, the Suburban comes in in 2 versions adjusted specifically for 26” and 24” wheels. However, improved tyre clearance in the 24” version makes it easy to run 26” wheels in this frame, which is a new trend that we have been observing. Due to this, NS Bikes decided to change the name to Suburban Dirt (last year’s Suburban 26) & Suburban Park (last year’s Suburban 24). For 2011 the Suburban frames have an integrated headset standard as an only option for both sizes, and a new shape of seatstays bridges.
Of course they also come with new fresh colours & logos!

NS Capital

Having received many inquiries in the last 2 years, NS Bikes decided that the new Capital 2011 street frame should be offered in two versions, and now this frame is not only fit for 24” wheels, but will come in a 26" version. For 2011 NS have decided to use simpler tubes, super strong in critical areas but not so thin in the middle - therefor more resistant to dents resulting from crashing and throwing the bike. The result is a slightly heavier frame but at a much better price. All other aspects of this frame remain similar to the 2010 version.

NS Analog

Many people may wonder why NS has stepped into the fixed gear freestyle scene - and the answer is quite simple. Their products have been used by fix-trix bikers for several years, especially their forks, that were a very common site in fixie bikes around the world. These guys have been asking us to make some specific fixed gear products - and together with a group of the most influential fixie riders we came up with designs and ideas that materialised in the form of a frame, a fork and even a complete bike. There are now lot's of new-school riders doing hardcore moves on their fixies, but not too many bikes, frames or forks that are strong enough to handle this kind of abuse. We feel that the Analog product line should fill in this gap perfectly. The Analog frames will fit tires up to 700x38C and will be barspinable with this size. The geometry is different than that found in traditional track bikes - the length of the top tube will be longer in the corresponding size, and we suggest using shorter stems (40-50mm) to achieve the correct riding position.

NS Traffic

The 2011 Traffic frames geometry is adjusted to work better with both 26” and 24” wheels. It’s based on a mix of Suburban Dirt and Park geometry with improved tyre clearance. It will now be available in several new great high end finishes that were previously used only on the Majesty!
