The ultimate in Single Speed technology – The Zakk hub is made out of 6061 and 7075 aluminium with an oversized axle and 10mm male bolts. The driver is a one piece construction made of super strong 7075 aluminum and features 6 double pawls.
The one piece construction allows Last to use bigger bearings in the driver than most other companies do, which results in much longer hub life. Flanges are extra wide and symetrically spaced to create a very strong wheel build. The oversized axle cups also ensure a strong and stiff interface with frame drop-outs. Besides all this work Last have gone to lengths machining off any uneccessary material keeping the hub to a total weight of 449g. Spacers also available for 14mm dropouts.
